Through meditation we can connect with ourselves past any worldly understandings, which can often hold us back from the knowledge of ourselves at the deepest of levels. I have been meditating since 1994 and have been leading others in the practice for over a decade. I encourage a daily meditation practice to help keep influences of the world at bay, those which might otherwise disrupt our thoughts, feelings, and actions as we approach our deepest sense of self and self-understanding.
Meditation helps to thin out any problems we may have, helping them to feel less substantial and less heavy to our embodied sense of self and our consciousness.
We arrive at a deeper place of peace in meditation and gain a greater understanding.
